Canvas

A terminal can only tell you about a result. The Canvas shows it. Runs render as surfaces next to the conversation that produced them — a chart, a table of trades, a grid of statistics, a written report — and stay there to be compared against the next run.

What it does

Surfaces, not scrollback

Charts, data tables, stat grids, markdown, images, groups and raw HTML each render as their own object. A result you produced twenty minutes ago is still on the canvas when the next one arrives.

Built for comparison

Surfaces can be grouped and laid out side by side, which is the whole job in research: this parameter set against that one, in and out of sample, with the equity curves next to each other.

Print it

Any surface exports to PDF, so a piece of research leaves the machine as a document rather than a screenshot.

Saved as part of the work

Surfaces and skills persist with the project, so a study you built is something you can return to and re-run, not a session you have to rebuild from memory.
