Office hours are where you bring the question you are stuck on and leave with it answered. They are on the Academy calendar, marked OH, and they are drop-in: there is no seat to register for and no course you need to have finished first.
How to get the most from them
- Bring one specific question, written down, with the code or the error that prompted it.
- Come early in a course, not when you are three weeks behind.
- Expect to share your screen. Problems get fixed faster when the instructor can see them.
Office hours are not remedial. The students who move fastest are the ones who ask in week one, not the ones who wait until week six.
